Online scheduling. Our website itself does not ask you to enter personal or health information. When you schedule online, you are taken to our scheduling portal, which is provided by our practice management vendor, Jane (eandgchiro.janeapp.com). There we collect the information needed to book your appointment, such as your name, phone number, email address and preferred appointment time, along with any intake forms you complete before your visit.

When you contact us. If you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, contact details and the reason for your call.

Automatically. Like most websites, our site and hosting provider receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, IP address and the pages you view.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to schedule, confirm and manage your appointments and to respond to your questions. We use technical information to keep the website secure and working well and to understand, in general terms, which pages are helpful. We do not sell, rent or lease your personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

3. Cookies, Analytics and Tracking

• Essential cookies. Our website and scheduling vendor may use essential or functional cookies so pages and the scheduling calendar work correctly.
• Website analytics. We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to see in aggregate how visitors use our site, for example how many people visit a page or tap our phone number or Schedule a Visit button. We do not send health information or the details you enter when booking to analytics tools.
• No advertising pixels. We do not use advertising tracking pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) to track your behavior or target you with ads on other websites.
• Third-party content. Some pages show content from other companies, such as Google Maps, Google reviews and web fonts. When those load, the provider may receive your IP address and browser information under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features, like the online scheduling calendar, may not work correctly without essential cookies.

4. Data Security

Once your information is entered into our scheduling and patient records system, it is protected in accordance with federal HIPAA regulations and the Minnesota Health Records Act. Regular email is not a secure way to send health information, so please call us rather than emailing detailed health information.

5. Minors

Our website and online scheduling portal are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors online. Appointments for patients under 18 must be scheduled by a parent or legal guardian, who must also sign an official informed consent before the minor can receive care.

Our website links to other sites, such as our scheduling portal, Google and government resources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
