KEEP GOING
You Don’t Have to Feel Bad to Keep Feeling Good
Maybe you’ve finished a treatment plan and want to keep feeling this way. Or maybe you’re new to the area, your chiropractor retired or you’re simply looking for a better fit. Either way, chiropractic care has helped you before, and you want a chiropractor you can count on.
Wellness care is how we keep working together once there’s no active issue to fix. It’s about taking care of the body you ask to work, train, travel, parent, play and move, so small aches and stiffness don’t turn into bigger problems.
Once you’ve had regular care, your body tends to tell you what it needs. I’m here to listen, offer guidance and make recommendations along the way, with no pressure.
You don’t have to navigate your health alone. I’m honored to be part of your team.

WHAT ONGOING CARE MAY INCLUDE
A Plan That Changes When You Do
There’s no one-size-fits-all maintenance plan. Each wellness visit is guided by how you’re moving and feeling right now, and may include:
- A check-in and recheck of how you’ve been feeling and how your joints and muscles are moving, so care matches what’s going on today.
- Chiropractic adjustments for the spine and extremities, with gentler options when they’re a better fit.
- Soft-tissue work, including Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Graston Technique® and cupping. Learn about ART®
- Class 4 laser therapy when your findings support it. Learn about laser therapy
- Mobility, stretching and strength exercises to keep progress going between visits.

WELLNESS CARE FAQ
Wellness Care Questions, Answered
Straight answers about how often to come in, what a visit looks like and cost. Something else on your mind? Call (952) 920-9247.
What is wellness or maintenance chiropractic care?
Wellness care, also called maintenance chiropractic care, is regular chiropractic care for people who don’t have an active injury but want to stay comfortable, move well and keep doing what they love. It’s often the next step after a treatment plan, and a good fit for anyone who has found chiropractic helpful in the past.
Who is wellness care for?
Patients who have finished a treatment plan and want to keep their progress, and people new to Excelsior & Grand who don’t have an active issue but know chiropractic works for them, such as those who recently moved to the area, whose chiropractor retired or who are looking for a better fit.
I’m looking for a new chiropractor. Can I start with wellness care?
Yes. As a new patient, your first visit is your history and exam so I can get to know you and your body. We review findings and recommendations at your follow-up visit, then set up a wellness rhythm that fits you. If we find something that needs active treatment first, we’ll talk about that.
How often should I come in for wellness care?
It depends on what works for you and what’s going on right now. Some patients come in weekly, some every few weeks or once a month, and some when they feel they need it. I’m happy to share my recommendation, with no pressure.
What happens at a wellness visit?
We check in on how you’ve been feeling and what’s coming up, recheck how you’re moving, then provide care. That may include adjustments, soft-tissue work like Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Graston Technique® or cupping, and exercises to keep things moving between visits.
Does insurance cover maintenance chiropractic care?
No. Insurance covers care for an active injury or condition, not wellness or maintenance care, so these visits are self-pay. Payment is due at the time of service, and HSA and FSA cards are accepted. See insurance and payment details.
Can regular chiropractic care help prevent problems?
Many patients find regular care helps them stay comfortable and notice small changes before they turn into bigger problems. No care can guarantee you won’t get hurt, but you’ll have a chiropractor who knows your history and can help early when something comes up.
What if something new comes up?
Let us know when you schedule. If it’s a new injury, a car accident or a flare-up, we’ll reassess and may recommend a short period of active treatment before you return to wellness care.
It’s been a while since my last visit. Can I come back?
Of course. Schedule a visit online or call us. If it’s been some time or something has changed, we may start with an updated assessment so your care fits where you are now.
Is wellness care only for athletes?
Not at all. Patients choose it for desk-heavy jobs, travel, parenting, gardening, golf, running and everything in between. If you rely on your body, it’s for you.
