Doctor of Chiropractic

Born & raised in Minneapolis, MN, Dr. Flatgard enjoys spending time with her family. She is an avid camper/adventure enthusiast and can often be found cheering on all Minnesota sports teams, especially the Vikings! She proudly served 8 years in the Army National Guard and volunteered in the nutrition department at the VA hospital in Minneapolis. In addition to running her own clinic, she helps run the Human Performance Center at Northwestern Health Sciences University, where she provides sports nutrition counseling to many sports teams across Minnesota and helps teach and mentor several future chiropractors in active care treatment!

She is your go-to evidence-based chiropractor in St. Louis Park, specializing in soft tissue treatment & nutrition supplementation. She is a full-body certified ART (Active Release Technology) & Graston Technique provider and is currently working to obtain her CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) certification and M.S in Exercise Science.

Chiropractic Schooling

After serving eight years in the Army National Guard as a communications specialist, she earned her BAS in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Flatgard went on to earn her Doctorate in Chiropractics from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She started Excelsior & Grand Chiropractic in June of 2018 and is in the process of completing a two year Sports & Nutrition Chiropractic fellowship at Northwestern Health Sciences University. She is also a level 1 Precision Nutrition Coach, a Full Body Certified Active Release Technique and Graston technique Provider.
